A deep well jet pump is designed with two characteristics in mind; high volume and low maintenance. JJ Tech has developed the ideal deep well jet pump, incorporating both of these characteristics.
The unique patented design of the JJ Tech deep well jet pumps allows easy retrieval from not only vertical wells, but deviated and horizontal wells also. If the pump needs to be retrieved for nozzle replacement or expansion tube replacement, it can easily be done by the manipulation of the surface valves, as well as reversal of the circulation fluid. There is no need for wire line, pulling unit or a workover rig.
These features, along with a larger flow area that directs the flow of the fluid, facilitates higher production rates. This gives JJ Tech’s jet pump design an advantage over other manufacturer’s jet pumps. It also makes the jet pump more advantageous than other types of artificial lift, such as the ESP (elecric submersible pump).
The size of the part of the deep well jet pump that would require retrieval (called the carrier) makes it easy to extract, making it appealing to clients; especially those with deviated or horizontal wells, whether on land or off shore.
Some of the features of the JJ Tech Deep Well Jet Pump are:
• There are no moving parts.
• Enhances New Completion Technology – the small size allows use in severely deviated wells, slim hole completions, and horizontal wells.
• Proficient Installation and Handling – absence of large lubricators or hoist requirements for installation or retrieval.
• Very small size, which facilitates small hole drilling.
• High flow capacity – The JJ Tech jet pump is small, but it provides higher production for the operator, which is created by the Venturi effect, which creates a low internal pressure drop.
• The JJ Tech jet pump has a simple design with very few moving parts in the pump assembly.
JJ Tech holds USA and selected foreign country patents on its line of deep well Jet pumps. They were designed and developed to produce large volumes of sub-surface formation fluids with inclusions of moderate to high solid content.
