Improve Efficiency Fast

  • A Deviated Hole
  • High Solids (Sand) Content
  • Liquid Loading

JJ Tech holds USA and selected foreign country patents on its line of Jet Pumps. This pump was developed to produce large volumes of sub-surface formation fluids with inclusions of moderate to high solid content.

The unique patented design allows easy retrieval of the pump from deviated and horizontal wells. Retrieval of the pump from the hole for replacement of the nozzle or expansion tube is done by the adjustment of the surface valves and reverse circulation of fluid with the existing production equipment. Efficient, Reliable Saltwater Disposal

The disposal of saltwater that is produced with the oil and/or gas from a reservoir is a very serious issue, involving significant costs and environmental concerns. The pumps and related equipment on a saltwater disposal well (SWD) must be reliable. Standard hydraulic pump packing has proved to be unreliable, with a short life, due to its failure to stand up under the wear and tear from constant pressure. Costly downtime for repairs causes a loss in production revenues and possible environmental damage. The Diaphragm Pump has proven to be reliable and durable due to its seal-less design. It works exceptionally well powering the JJ Tech Jet Pump or for SWD. Read how JJ Tech’s SWD can lower production costs. Read more > Saltwater Disposal

What is Gas Well Dewatering?

“Gas Well Dewatering,” or “Gas Well Deliquification”, is the general term for technologies used to remove water build-up from producing gas wells. When natural gas flows to the surface in a producing gas well, the gas carries liquids to the surface if the velocity of the gas is high enough. A high gas velocity results in a mist flow pattern in which liquids are… Read more > Gas Well Dewatering

Facts & Statistics

A Look at Artificial Lift

Artificial lift refers to one of several methods used to raise oil and or water to the surface through a well after the well can no longer produce by natural energy (pressure).

Artificial lift is needed in wells when there is insufficient pressure in the reservoir to lift the produced fluids to the surface, but often used in naturally flowing wells (which do not technically need it) to increase the flow rate above what would flow naturally. The produced fluid can be oil and/or water, typically with some amount of gas included.

The solution to water buildup downhole can be achieved by installing a Hydraulic Jet Pump. A surface pump injects power fluid down the tubing into the Jet Pump. By utilizing the Venturi effect, formation fluid is drawn into the pump, commingles with the power fluid and returns to the surface. Read more > Artificial Lift

No Wire Line

No wire line or work-over rig is required. These features, plus the larger flow area, direct fluid flow path, and high production volumes, give JJ Tech’s Jet Pump a marked advantage over existing designs of jet pumps and other types of artificial lift.

Slim and Sleek

The small size of the portions of the pump retrieved, referred to as “the carrier”, is 6.5 inches and 8.5 inches in length, making it very attractive to clients with highly deviated or horizontal wells that require artificial lift.
